Eerie Revival: This Daoist Really Is Cultivating Immortality

Ji Yi transmigrates into a hopeless world overrun by evil spirits, but he’s convinced it’s a cultivation realm undergoing a “spiritual qi revival.” As a “cultivator of the Dao” who has just emerged from seclusion, he vows to wipe out demons and monsters and save the world.

And so, everything takes a bizarre turn:

The S-rank haunted zones everyone else fears are “paradise caves” in his eyes.

The terrifying entities everyone avoids are “refining materials” to him.

The golden containment room sent over by headquarters becomes his “Demon-Suppressing Pagoda.”

Facing an S-rank ghost king trembling with fear, he smiles kindly and extends his dark gold, corpse-spotted ghost hand.

“Good sir, your brow is clouded. How about you step into my pill furnace and cool off?”

…

The day Ji Yi ascends (descends) with his paper-doll sedan and his corpse disciple, the whole world trembles:

“Please stop cultivating! That’s Cthulhu!”
