I’ve been writing this book for a little over a month. It started because I’ve always wanted to write a book about Cele County in the Hotan region of Xinjiang, telling its historical stories and describing its local customs. The author knows quite a bit about Xinjiang, and after a lot of thought, somehow decided this book would be science fiction. Later on, the characters will travel through a time tunnel back to Cele during the Sui dynasty. The book will be at least 600,000 words long, and it might even grow into a full-fledged franchise.
