Godslayer Emblem

Tong Xuan, an ordinary woman who worked herself to death in modern society, transmigrates to a steel continent ruled by floating castles, where she is born small and trapped among the lowest class of commoners. Forced to kneel and polish the tips of noble boots, she keeps going until she finds a talking broken sword in a garbage heap. Its blade reflects a face on the throne above the clouds that bears a striking resemblance to her own. When the nobles smash her younger sister's kneecaps with gold coins, dark golden markings spread beneath Tong Xuan's collar: the God-Slaying crest once used by the First Sky Court to execute rebels. She must conceal her identity and use her modern knowledge to rise in this world of magic, all while confronting the oppression of the nobility, the pursuit of the theocratic church, and the hidden connection between herself and the throne in the clouds. With the help of two suitors, Tong Xuan will uncover the mystery of her birth and decide whether to become the throne's heir or a revolutionary who slays gods.
