A Guide to Life in Teyvat: My Home Is Always Full of Otherworldly Guests

(Genshin Impact + cozy everyday life + slow-paced + farming)

On the lonely night of his twenty-fourth birthday, Lin Yi makes a wish in his empty room: he wants a family.

That night, a “long-lost relative” with moonlight-silver hair knocks on his door. She calls herself Nahida, and her eyes brim with wisdom and compassion from beyond this world.

Lin Yi thinks this is the one and only miracle of his life. Little does he know, it’s just the first page opened by the “Life Almanac System.”

From then on, a new “guest from another world” arrives at his door on the first day of every month:

The elf girl Klee, who brings unbridled joy and a few “little troubles”; the composed guest Zhongli, who knows everything under the sun and likes to ponder over tea in the courtyard; Furina, a former opera star with a sensitive heart who longs to be loved for who she really is; and Neuvillette, the Chief Justice, who values reason above all else but has begun studying “family emotional algorithms”...

There are no world-shattering missions, nor any worlds that must be saved. There is only a villa that grows more crowded and lively by the day, a courtyard to cultivate together, increasingly lavish home-cooked meals, and souls in need of understanding and a place to belong.

Lin Yi’s daily life changes from “one person, one full stomach, no worries” to cleaning up after Klee’s Jumpy Dumpty, rehearsing family plays with Furina, asking Zhongli for advice on life, and working with Neuvillette to refine the “Family Energy Management Guidelines”...

This is a story about “building a nest.” When stars from different worlds come to rest under the gentle pull of affection, the most ordinary days come together to create the most extraordinary miracle.

Welcome home. The next member of the family is on their way.
