The Beijing Heir Set Me Up on a Date, Then Regretted It at Our Engagement Party

[Marriage first, love later for the male lead, unrequited love comes true / The second male lead grovels to win her back, obsessive and unhinged]

[Cool-headed, clear-eyed female secretary vs. scheming heir who puts his wife first]

When Yang An was fifteen and everyone bullied and ridiculed her, Jin Shiyu was the one who took her hand.

Back then, he was the golden boy, gently brushing the dust from her clothes.

“From now on, she's with me. Let's see anyone try to bully her again.”

From that day on, Jin Shiyu became her whole world.

Later, after the Jin family was targeted and brought down, he became a destitute academic failure whom everyone trampled on.

Yang An tutored him, secretly scraped together his tuition, and pulled him back from the brink.

For ten years,

Yang An watched women come and go from his side. He was a fickle playboy, and all she could do was smile and wish him well, over and over.

She knew he didn't love her, but she wanted to stay by his side and watch over him forever.

Until he arranged a blind date without telling her and cheerfully tried to set her up with his best friend.

Jin Shiyu thought he was doing what was best for her.

He never expected Yang An to leave and never look back.

When they met again, it was at her engagement party.

She smiled warmly, holding another man's arm.

Jin Shiyu grabbed her like a madman, eyes red-rimmed as he pleaded, “An'an, please come with me. Don't leave me...”

Before Yang An could answer, the aloof, dignified man beside her glanced over and said expressionlessly, “A-Yu, you were the one who pushed her to me. Don't tell me you regret it now?”
