Yun Jian Yue is an unremarkable little shop owner on Funeral Street who loves slacking off.
That is, until Shen Qi Chi, the city’s famous cold and domineering CEO, shows up at her door with a dark expression. “I hear you can deal with certain ‘special problems’?”
Yun Jian Yue looks at the mass of bad luck clinging to him that no one else can see, and at the golden thread of fate inexplicably connecting him to her. Smiling, she holds out her hand.
“I can, but Mr. Shen, first we need to discuss the price, as well as long-term after-sales service.”
Later, her business keeps expanding.
She reads the feng shui for the CEO’s company, lifts curses for wealthy families, and eventually even gets politely invited by a special government agency.
And Mr. Shen, who once couldn’t stand to be within three meters of her, now clocks in at her incense shop every day and has even learned to fight to pay.
Someone asks him why he trusts Yun Jian Yue so much.
Shen Qi Chi gazes deeply at the woman leisurely folding gold ingots behind the counter.
“At first, I thought I was paying for her expertise.”
“Only later did I realize I wanted her.”
