PS: My new short story, After My Husband's Heart Changed, is now available.
[Mystery and the occult + terrifying murders involving humans and ghosts + an alien ascetic who falls from grace + a romantic battleground where humans, ghosts, and aliens all vie for love + “The heroine masters the occult, the hero has maxed-out physical attacks” + a satisfying story of turning the tables on the worst of humanity]
1. After returning to her hometown, Zhan Nuo did two things that got the locals talking even more than the bizarre murder case.
First, she quit her job in medicine and took over her family's ancestral temple.
Second, she married a young chef of unknown background.
The locals couldn't understand it and thought she was being foolish. Then they saw the chef and decided it was perfectly understandable.
Her best friend asked, “Is your poor sleep and lack of energy because of that man, so elegant and handsome he seems like a crane descended from the heavens?”
Zhan Nuo didn't answer. There was a ghost outside the car window, and she'd gotten involved in a murder case.
Watching her husband, Zhan Nuo felt guilty. Born with the ability to see ghosts, she witnessed them roaming everywhere and was likely to die young. Only a person connected to her by the red thread of fate could suppress her supernatural sight, so she had no choice but to go on blind dates.
She met Mo Keli. The moment their fingers touched, she saw his eight-pack abs through his clothes.
But he seemed to have no humanity, was unnaturally strong, and had become inexplicably wealthy. All ghosts were terrified of him, as if he were a murderer.
Only later did she learn that Mo Keli, whose destiny she couldn't sense, wasn't human. He was an alien.
And the person truly bound to her by the red thread had appeared.
What could she do?
Find someone else, then.
As an alien, Mo Keli kept a close eye on his human wife.
[Observation +1: She proposed a divorce and plans to marry someone else. I accepted and am preparing to return]
[Update: Killed]
[Update: No need to return. I have fallen]
Very nice!! Both the heroine and the hero have mouths. The heroine is gentle and principled. The male protagonist is an alien, providing some alien perspectives. He has the feeling of a cold-faced comedian (although his intention is not to be funny). The plot is smooth and there is no facial expression in the characterization. The plot is not flat, and it is good for breasts. I feel good when I see a story where evil is rewarded.
It looks good and the setting is interesting. The heroine is very handsome I saw the heroine using a talisman to connect to the thunder, but I don't think the heroine is the Virgin. Based on the character of the heroine, I think she has her own considerations, and the plot develops very well. And Holy Mother shouldn't be a derogatory term. So far, I haven't seen the heroine act like a bad person, helping others without taking care of herself, or even affecting herself. It's normal to want to see a more self-interested protagonist, but I don't think you should scold the protagonist because of this. It's impossible for every protagonist to be purely egoistic.
After reading it, it may be the first one, so it is very short. The first part is very interesting. The alien setting has an inhuman feeling. The rhythm and details are very good. Later, it suddenly starts to double the speed. Personally, I feel that I can slowly spread out and write bigger. In fact, the rhythm flow of the details, small cases and big cases at the beginning is really good. It would be better to write more interspersed with daily life. The latter part is too "violent". It is not just a matter of strength, but the grass-gray snake line. It is a pity that the author failed to do it.
It's actually quite good-looking, and the writing is very sweet, like the book My Psycho Ex-Boyfriend??? Probably this name It has the feeling of a light and sweet girl novel, but with some extra ghosts and monsters. The ending is a fairy tale, a combination of aliens and gods. Emm. Actually, I think it's too short. I could lay more groundwork in the early stage. For example, I'd start with finding the destined person, write about the hero and heroine meeting each other, then write about resignation after something happened, write about getting married, and then write more about other things, just like the drama My Love from the Star. Wouldn't it be more interesting to write more about it? After all, this combination is quite sweet.
The writing is really good, and the heroine's character is super three-dimensional and full. She is a just, kind, gentle, smart, brave, tenacious, and a little humorous intellectual woman. I am really short of words, but I can't overstate all the beautiful adjectives I can put on her. The male protagonist is also quite idealized. He is considerate, respectful, smart, and versatile. No wonder he is an alien. The content is also well written, including the unity of the police and citizens when solving crimes, the description of human nature, the heroine's counterattack in the face of oppression, etc. The description of metaphysics-related content is not that exaggerated. The golden finger is not very open at the beginning, and the ending is quite interesting.
In fact, the introduction and the beginning are both a bit of a stream of consciousness. The further you read, the more realistic it becomes. It's quite interesting and it didn't take long to finish reading. The early writing is indeed a bit dehumanizing (not derogatory), just like the male protagonist of this article wrote. Haha, there are indeed a lot of typos in the later period. It would be better if they can be fixed. The sweetness of the male and female protagonists is quite normal, and there is no alien feeling like many foreign writings. How can I put it... The later stage does seem to be quite rushed, the ending is too stream-of-consciousness and messy, the heroine is similar to someone who has an identity and becomes an immortal through calamity, and the sadistic male protagonist is inexplicably reversed quickly. It really seems like the outline process has been completed and the ending is coming soon. The heroine is brainless and has a lot of things going on in a group. The society in the background is also rotten. Ordinary people may easily have a heart attack after watching it. However, overall, I still have a certain sense of specialness and story after watching it. Five points is enough 🍅
I don't like to read books with metaphysical themes, but this one is a bit interesting as it is compatible with criminal investigation dramas. The cases are real life, and there are not many emotional scenes between the two non-human male and female protagonists. The supporting characters are also very normal, which is very interesting to watch. The final ending is so abstract hahaha that it touches the hearts of realists.
I stayed up late to finish watching it. It was so good!! It has been added to my book collection list. I clicked on the author's homepage to read more. I wanted to read other books, but it turned out to be just one book!!! 😢😢 Open a new book soon!!! 😫 😫 I haven't read enough of this book! It's too short!!! 😫😫
It's fun, the heroine has a really good personality, she's smart, powerful, and has a good outlook. The male protagonist is so funny, just downright funny. There is no female rivalry and no vicious female partner. The chapter about the brainless and vicious family members was solved by the law. The pace is fast, the plot is interesting, in short, it is a good review. Really nice to look at. The heroine is not a saint. But she is very just and kind, and the story is also very good. Although it is not long, the stories are interlocking and reveal many dark sides of society.
Very nice, although the ending is too hasty
