Bao Aike stared at the red warning icon that was dancing on the computer screen. His fingertips unconsciously tapped the edge of the desk, his knuckles turning slightly white from the exertion. The GIS map on the screen clearly marked the location of Luoyun Village in Qian County, Yunnan Province. The green coverage circle representing the network signal shrank less than a hundred meters from the entrance of the village, as if trapped by an invisible barrier. The contiguous gray area deep in the village was the hardest nut to crack for their "Digital Enlightenment Plan in the Deep Mountains of Yunnan and Guizhou."
