Old Zhu Gives Me the Right to Execute the Corrupt, and I Make the Entire Court Weep

Great Ming: I Asked You to Investigate Corruption, Not Slaughter the Entire Court!

I Have an Oversight System and Help Old Zhu Go on a Rampage

The Great Ming’s Most Unhinged Man: Old Zhu Gives Me Free Rein to Kill Them All

“Stop! The imperial prison is a restricted area. Want to visit someone? The entrance fee is five taels of silver!”

Su Ran, a low-ranking prison guard who transmigrates into the Ming dynasty, bars the way from the start to Zhu Yuanzhang, who is traveling incognito.

Old Zhu is just about to draw his sword when Su Ran points at the “Great Ming’s foremost upright official,” who has been on a hunger strike for three days, and laughs:

“On a hunger strike? He just ate an entire roast chicken from Zuixian House!”

Having awakened the **[Intelligent System for Overseeing the Realm]**, Su Ran sees right through everything at a glance!

[An honest official claims to be broke?] Eight hundred thousand taels of gold are buried underground, enough to make Old Zhu’s eyes pop!

[A minister cries poverty?] Cut open a rat in the state treasury and all you find inside are tribute rice and roast goose skin!

[The accounts are watertight?] Activate quantum-speed reading and audit ten years of crooked books in three days. The corrupt officials won’t even have their underwear left!

From prison guard to the living King of Hell of the Great Ming, Su Ran and Old Zhu go on a rampage together.

Su Ran: “Your Majesty, I’ll catch a corrupt official for every thousand taels. I get half of whatever we seize. Deal?”

Zhu Yuanzhang looks at the silver piled up in the treasury. “Deal! Strip them of everything!”

The entire court breaks down. “Your Majesty, stop letting Su Ran investigate! At this rate, there’ll be no one left to attend court!”
