The Heaven-Chosen Diviner

I’m Zhao Siqi, a charlatan who makes a living with a silver tongue and the fortune-telling arts passed down through my family. My usual work involves helping Auntie Wang next door find romance and checking the feng shui for Grandpa Li downstairs.

Then one day, I discovered that everyone on my household register except me was marked “deceased.”

To uncover the truth behind my family’s disappearance, I set out on a perilous journey to raid tombs and seek dragon veins.

What? A thousand-year-old zombie king? Don’t rush me. Let me calculate its birth chart and see which of the five elements it’s lacking.

What? A sinister formation of blood corpses? Don’t panic. I’ll find the heart of the formation with a quick calculation.

What? Our rivals are a mysterious organization with immense power?

Zhao Siqi slapped his compass. “Perfect! I’ll use you to consecrate my dragon-seeking ruler!”

My fellow adventurers laugh and call me crazy. I laugh because they can’t see the truth.

In this underground world where death lurks at every turn, others rely on muscle and money. I, Zhao Siqi, rely on a tongue that can talk the dead back to life, and a knack for fortune-telling that can predict the living’s deaths!
