On a snowy night on New Year's Eve, Du Fei, who is obsessed with repairing old machines, is squatting in the basement to troubleshoot a malfunctioning Xerox 1085. However, he is "selected" by an alien spacecraft out of thin air, opening an unexpected invitation to space. In the vast galaxy, he unexpectedly encountered Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng from the Buddhist team - only Tang Seng had gone to the Western Paradise to practice Zen.
