Mending a Broken Relationship: Mr. He, We’re Strangers!

[Reunion after a long separation + getting back together after a breakup + the husband chases his wife to the crematorium + both leads are virgins + not a feel-good story] Su Qinwei never expected to run into He Xuqing in Beijing. Their two groups meet in a corridor. Everyone greets each other, but she is the only one who doesn't move. The atmosphere grows increasingly awkward, and someone asks, “Do you know each other?” “No.” She denies it immediately, without a second thought. But He Xuqing answers at the same time: “Yes.” Later, He Xuqing goes mad and traps her behind a door, asking, “So, is it because of him?” Su Qinwei is baffled. “He Xuqing, are you drunk?” They have long since become strangers, so there's nothing to talk about. She refuses to be friendly to He Xuqing and does her best to keep the distance between them where it should be. But one day, her company suddenly fires her. At the same time, her landlord sends her a notice ordering her to move out that very day, or they'll throw her belongings out. After thinking it over, she can only think of one person behind it all: He Xuqing. But when she confronts him, He Xuqing says it wasn't him. To prove his innocence, He Xuqing not only gets her a job at his company but also provides her with a place to live. But if it wasn't He Xuqing, who could it have been?
