When Sparks Fly

One-on-one pairing / Both pure and devoted / Two male leads / A little sweet

All characters are adults.

After entering high school, top students Chen He and Xu Zehui, rivals who had never met before, ended up in the same class and sitting at the same desk. From then on, every exam became a silent war, and these two men with completely different personalities finally found worthy opponents in each other. The night before college entrance exam registration, Chen He asked Xu Zehui to meet, saying he had something to discuss. He had planned to confess first, but Xu Zehui was quicker and beat him to it: “You came first in the last exam. This time, it’s my turn to be first.”

From then on, these evenly matched rivals joined forces, advancing together and proving unstoppable.

Whether in school or at work, perhaps it was their years together that changed them, like a pen rewriting their stories. The bold and brash Chen He took all the blame for Xu Zehui, just so nothing would hinder his future; the gentle and mild-mannered Xu Zehui, too, would show his claws when others spoke ill of Chen He. They would test each other’s feelings on the empty school rooftop, gaze at each other beneath a sky filled with fireworks, and keep one another company through the long years to come, seeing the world’s splendor and making their way through the best years of youth.
