Steal-Your-Heart Directive: Target, Kaito Kid

Kuroba Kaito found a girl with amnesia. She was as beautiful as an illusion beneath the moon.

She fell in love with him at first sight, her feelings as intense as a sudden summer downpour.

She also had an unbelievable talent for magic, making her his perfect phantom thief partner.

Everything was as beautiful as a dream.

He lost himself in her adoring gaze, thinking he had finally found his soulmate.

Until her “secret” cut through him like a blade:

Every coincidence had been carefully arranged, and every flutter of his heart came from the forbidden love spell she had planted in him.

Watching the world collapse in his eyes, she smiled coldly. “Now, it’s time to wake up.”

The magic vanished, and hatred grew.

He hated this complete and utter deception, and hated even more the ridiculous version of himself who had fallen so deeply under the spell.

But when she took a bullet for him and clasped his trembling hand in a pool of blood, he realized that without magic to influence him, there was still no explanation…

for why it hurt so much that he would gladly trade everything for one more lie from her.

“Please… lie to me one more time,” he sobbed, kissing her fingertips as they grew cold.

“Tell me that, even if only for a second, you felt something for me.”

Magical girl versus genius phantom thief: an epic battle between lies and sincerity.
