After Wukong Lost His Job

After Sun Wukong completed his journey to the Western Heaven to obtain the scriptures, the Buddha Tathagata bestowed on him the title Victorious Fighting Buddha. This title recognized his achievements in vanquishing demons and protecting the scripture-seeking party, and marked his attainment of Buddhahood.

But after becoming the Victorious Fighting Buddha, Wukong felt no sense of glory. Instead, he felt he had “lost his job.”

So he decided to revisit the mortal world after all these years, to walk around and see what had changed.

But what he saw stirred his blood and turned his worldview upside down. Come enjoy the spin-off comedy, Wukong After Losing His Job!
