"Xuan Hu Jing Hua Lu" tells the story of Lin Wan, a cardiac surgeon who accidentally stepped into the world of traditional medicine after experiencing a low point in his life when his operation failed and he was transferred from his post. She collaborated with Chen Jingxing, a scholar on ancient books, to discover the lost vascular anastomosis technique of "Golden Thread to Prolong Life" from the Han Dynasty medical slips "Tianhui Medical Slips", and used modern technology to verify and innovate.
From microscopic exploration in the laboratory to careful clinical practice, from Jiangcheng Clinic to the international stage at Stanford, Lin Wan led the team to transform ancient wisdom into modern therapies and successfully treated many patients with difficult vascular diseases. The Innovation Center for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine she founded not only promoted the golden wire anastomosis technology from ancient books to the operating table, but also established a new medical paradigm that integrates traditional wisdom and modern science.
