[Great Ming] [Zhu Biao] [Confucianism] [Transmigration] [Winning People Over with Virtue] Emperor Hongwu Zhu Yuanzhang was decisive and ruthless, but he worried that Crown Prince Zhu Biao was too gentle and kind to keep his arrogant, battle-hardened generals in line. Wang Lin, who had transmigrated into this world, answered an imperial recruitment notice and became the crown prince’s tutor. Zhu Yuanzhang said, “My dear Wang, teach the crown prince benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and trustworthiness. Make him win people over with virtue.” Wang Lin replied, “Your Majesty, rest assured.
