Clan Cultivation: Bloodline Feedback Lets This Ancestor Win by Doing Nothing

[Clan Cultivation] [Management] [More Children, More Blessings] [Lighthearted]

Lin Xuanqing transmigrates and becomes the founding ancestor of the Lin Clan of Qinglan Mountain, a bona fide Foundation Establishment cultivator.

But being this clan ancestor is a pretty hot seat:

The mountain-protecting formation will shut down tomorrow, there are only three spirit stones left in the storeroom, dozens of people below are waiting anxiously for their next meal, and the neighboring Qi Refining clan is eyeing them hungrily… As for Lin Xuanqing, he has the title of ancestor but is really just a newbie who has only just inherited the memories.

Luckily, his golden finger awakens just in time.

When a clan member breaks through, he gains insight; when a nephew or niece gets married, he receives a reward. Even when a junior merely picks up a turtle…

“Report! Lin Wan of the seventeenth branch hatched a… monster turtle that eats spirit stones!”

Lin Xuanqing looks at the appraisal, [Young Xuanwater Spirit Turtle, Talent: Spirit-Seeking and Leyline Detection], then at the nervous little girl, and waves his hand decisively. “Starting today, we’ll direct resources toward Lin Wan!”

From then on, the clan’s whole approach goes completely off track:

While other clan ancestors are busy fighting over treasures and competing for supremacy, he frets about the yield per mu of spirit rice and the young disciples’ dating prospects.

While the prodigies of other sects fight to the death in secret realms, the Lin Clan’s disciples compete at the clan tournament to master alchemy, talisman-making, and spirit-beast breeding.

While outsiders think the Lin Clan is just a nouveau riche family that got lucky, Lin Xuanqing looks at the family register, crowded with names marked “Golden Core Realm” and “Nascent Soul Realm,” along with the kids whose labels read “Formation Grandmaster” and “Alchemy Prodigy,” and smiles without a word.

This is the story of how, starting from Foundation Establishment, a declining clan is built into an unrivaled immortal clan with wisdom, warmth, and the help of a slightly unconventional System.
