Hell is not the legendary eighteenth floor, but nineteen. The nineteenth level does not punish sinners, but imprisons those "living souls" who were sent by mistake on the verge of life and death. The memories and vitality of these living souls are being absorbed by an ancient existence to maintain a terrible conspiracy that spans Yin and Yang.
Lin Wan, a 25-year-old folklore graduate student, was investigating a series of bizarre suicides when he discovered that all the deceased had received a mysterious text message before their death: "Welcome to the nineteenth floor of hell." As the investigation deepens, she finds that she is involved in a horror game that connects reality and the netherworld. Each "level" corresponds to a level of punishment in hell, and those who pass the level will be "qualified" to enter the nineteenth level.
