Synopsis
Ye Xun, a modern young man addicted to online games, is in the middle of an epic battle in a Journey to the West game when a sharp pain strikes his head and he transmigrates straight into the age of Journey to the West, a world ruled by gods and demons!
When he opens his eyes, he finds himself on Flower-Fruit Mountain, with clouds surging above and a vast blue sea beneath his feet. Beside him stands a stone covered in mysterious markings: Nuwa’s Stone. Before he can figure out what’s happening, the earth trembles and the stone bursts apart. A little yellow-furred monkey leaps out from its core!
Seeing the lively but innocent little monkey, Ye Xun’s pupils shrink. Isn’t this the Great Sage Equal to Heaven Sun Wukong, who will one day wreak Havoc in Heaven?
Heaven has handed him a powerful ally who’ll reach the heavens themselves!
Without hesitation, Ye Xun decides to stick close to this promising investment. He picks fruit and plays in the water with the monkey, teaches it to read and write, and gets his “invest in Brother Monkey” plan underway ahead of schedule.
Watch as an ordinary modern man uses his knowledge of the future to guide the stone monkey before his ascension to sainthood, stir up the Three Realms, rewrite the established script of Journey to the West, and forge his own path to eternal life, defying the heavens!
