[School years followed by city life x SC x happy ending]
A violent rainstorm left Yu Fuyi, a math prodigy at Jing University, staying overnight at her tutoring student's home.
But she accidentally walked into a stranger's room and saw something she shouldn't have.
The man sat alone on a sofa in a pitch-black room. The occasional ragged breaths and muffled groans made the inexperienced Yu Fuyi blush.
She turned to run, but fell right into the wolf's trap.
-
To save someone, Yu Fuyi agreed to a deal with Shi Zelin.
Her only condition was that they wouldn't go all the way.
-
As she wished, their deal ended, and they went their separate ways.
On the way to register a marriage she was being forced into, a car suddenly came straight at them and crashed.
Someone opened the rear door, and Shi Zelin sneered at her.
“Yu Fuyi, without me, you call this a good life?”
-
Yu Fuyi looked at Shi Zelin's roguish face, her eyes reddening despite herself. Without a word, she threw herself into his arms.
The man froze for a few seconds, then carried her out of the car. His sinister gaze swept over everyone there, like Satan come to claim their souls.
Later, a friend joked with Shi Zelin: “Did you really fall for Yu Fuyi?”
The man smoked, slowly exhaling a plume of smoke, and scoffed:
“She's just a pet I'm keeping. What makes you think I've fallen for her?”
-
Years later, Yu Fuyi returned to her university as a teacher. At the school anniversary celebration, Shi Zelin had shed his youthful awkwardness and now carried himself with an air of elegance and nobility.
He merely gave her a calm, indifferent glance. Neither of them spoke first.
She thought they would remain strangers from then on. But in her office, with papers scattered all over the floor, Shi Zelin pinned her hard against the desk and gritted out:
“Yu Fuyi, do you even have a heart?”
I think this book is very well written. The male protagonist has been carefully protecting the female protagonist and always appears in time when the female protagonist needs help. The female protagonist is very insecure, but when there is a male protagonist, it makes people feel very warm and touching. I feel that the male protagonist is the kind of person who is cold on the outside and hot on the inside.
Super, super good-looking, Shi Yu and his wife will always be happy! It would be better if there is a side story ^O^
It's great, but I haven't watched enough. It's a pity that there are no extras.
