A few rambling thoughts: Attack on Titan has been one of my favorite works for nearly a decade. Its ending was realistic and cruel, and it took me a long time to come to terms with it. That's exactly why this fanfic isn't just borrowing the shell of Attack on Titan to write a feel-good power fantasy. Instead, I'm trying to stay within the original framework and faithfully recreate the characters' decision-making and core spirits as much as possible.
