Hell from the start! On the White Gate Tower, bound in ropes and facing Cao Cao's suspicions and Liu Bei's insistence that he be executed, the peerless Lu Bu is set to lose his head in three days! In his despair, he dreams of his tragic end, and the soul of someone claiming to be "Su Dongpo" awakens in his mind!
"A brute's courage, a brute's death. Fengxian, I'll make up for the regrets you left behind!"
When Lu Bu opens his eyes again, his old rage and shortsightedness are gone. In their place are a profound insight into human nature and the calm of a master strategist. Facing Cao Cao, he no longer begs for his life. Instead, with Su Shi's literary talent, he improvises a verse of "A Short Song," leaving Cao Cao awestruck and making him see Lu Bu as a kindred spirit! Facing Liu Bei, he exposes his hypocrisy with a single remark, leaving him speechless!
From then on, the Three Kingdoms has a monster in its midst! He can take a general's head amid a sea of troops and verbally defeat a gathering of scholars at court. His poems spread across the land, winning the hearts of countless luminaries, while his reforms to farming tools and military equipment make his forces the strongest among the warlords!
"What? Lu Bu can predict the weather and understands the economy and people's livelihoods too?" Zhou Yu gapes in disbelief!
"Impossible! Such unfathomable tactics could never have come from Lu Bu!" Zhuge Liang's feather fan slips from his hand!
Standing atop the world, Lu Bu (Su Shi) smiles. "I alone am an army, and I alone am an age of prosperity. Fengxian's halberd and Dongpo's brush: tell me, who in all the realm could stand against me?"
