Guan Hong, the second son of the Guan family, gave his heart and soul to Crown Princess Li Mo'er after one fleeting glimpse of her as a boy. He knew Li Mo'er was radiant and proud, and that she had never once looked his way. He also knew she loved only Feng Qi.
For Li Mo'er, he concealed his brilliance and willingly entered the palace as her favored consort. But what awaited him was...
Li Mo'er, Crown Princess of the Moonfall Kingdom and later its empress, had once sworn she would never get involved in love. But when someone saved her in a moment of danger, she fell for Feng Qi. (Note: It was Guan Hong who saved the Crown Princess. Why she believed it was Feng Qi will be revealed in the story.)
She used every means to seize the throne and made Feng Qi her empress consort. Believing she had treated him well and given him every luxury, she was stabbed through the heart by him on their wedding day.
She refused to accept it! Why?!
Her soul left her body, and she saw with her own eyes how Guan Hong, the blind consort she had never paid much attention to, carefully plotted revenge, killed Feng Qi and his allies, then died for her...
In tears, she swore that if she could live again, she would spoil Guan Hong rotten!
Perhaps Heaven heard her wish, because she really was reborn!
