Moth in the Green Train

Our generation, born in the 1980s, experienced a childhood of material scarcity and caught up with the torrent of educational reform. When we entered society, we were greeted by fierce competition and high housing prices. We were once called 'little emperors', then 'sandwiches' and now we are labeled 'midlife crisis'. But on this train called the times, we never stop moving forward. Like the moth in the green carriage, we hit the transparent barriers again and again, looking for the exit. Sometimes we are bruised and sometimes exhausted, but we never give up flying. Because we know that there is light outside the window, and the light is worth all our efforts. Moths fly to the flame, not because they are stupid, but because they yearn for the light. And we, the generation born in the 1980s, are just chasing our own light throughout our lives. But we never quit, we just retreated from the center of the stage to the position of lighting designer. Use our experiences, choices, gains and losses to adjust the angle of light for those who come after us. The green train will eventually withdraw from the stage of history, just like we will eventually grow old, but the time spent in the carriage, the stories shared with strangers, and the confusion and hope for the future will all become the collective memory of a generation, shining in the long river of time.
