Marriage Before Love / Both inexperienced in love / Secret crush / Push and pull
Song Qingyu had always been well-behaved and followed the rules. In everyone's eyes, she was the perfect good girl.
Her only act of rebellion came on the day the college entrance exams ended, when she confessed to a man four years her senior. Unfortunately, he turned her down, and she even witnessed him and the girlfriend he loved exchanging tokens of their affection.
And so Song Qingyu's youthful crush came to an end.
The Ke and Song families had a marriage contract. Song Qingyu never imagined the marriage would fall to her, much less that her intended would be Ke Jingyu, the man who had once rejected her. He'd long since forgotten her.
He had plenty of admirers. It was only natural that he couldn't remember her.
Song Qingyu calmly accepted a marriage based not on love, but on mutual benefit.
Ke Jingyu, heir to a top elite family, was the picture of grace and refinement, cool and noble.
Everyone knew he'd agreed to the marriage alliance out of a sense of responsibility, and that he had no feelings for Song Qingyu.
Until someone saw him, usually so cool and composed, kiss Song Qingyu breathless. “Baby, stay away from him. I'll get jealous.”
Song Qingyu thought this was simply the unspoken understanding that came from sharing a bed.
It wasn't until she found a collection of letters, treasured for years, in her husband's safe that she finally realized the person she'd secretly loved for so long had loved her too.
Finished reading. In summary, the male and female protagonists have no mouths! The heroine does nothing but cry Well, the heroine's upbringing environment may have caused such an awkward personality. But in the first few dozen chapters, I really didn't see that the male protagonist had been secretly in love with the female protagonist for several years. . . There was no wedding in the end, and there was no extra episode either.
