When the Alien Species Invade, I Guard the World with a Scythe

Six thousand years ago, a meteorite fell. Greed tore open the seal, the void spread its corruption, and aberrant creatures ran rampant! Human civilization staggered onward through blood and fire, while countless gods fought in blood-soaked battles to temporarily shore up the crumbling seal.

In the twentieth century, the seal broke again, and the apocalypse arrived! Ordinary people remained completely unaware, while only those awakened with supernatural abilities shouldered the burden of their race's survival.

Xie Tianlan, codename “Shadow Scythe,” was once an insignificant speck of dust. By chance, he became the sole heir of an ancient god of death. From the start, he wielded a scythe and commanded the power of shadows. Starting out as a G-rank rookie, he endured the bloody Battle of the Bohai Sea, Iceland's desperate struggle, the Great Wall's last stand... Tempered amid mountains of corpses and seas of blood, he broke through at the edge of life and death!

When an S-rank falls, the Great Wall is under siege, and the Antarctic endgame begins, can he gather the five great runes and reactivate the ancient seal, slaughtering gods, demons, and aberrant creatures in a mortal body?

This is an epic tale of courage, sacrifice, and legacy: the story of a scythe-wielder carving a path toward humanity's dawn in the apocalypse!

(PS: The protagonist appears in Chapter 6. The first five chapters are a prologue and focus on the heroine, so feel free to skip them if that's not your thing.)
