A Group Transmigration to Mihua Town: The Great Secret Identity Showdown

Eight people who have died are “kidnapped” by a System and taken to Beika Town to complete missions: four men and four women.

This is an ensemble story, but there will be one or two main viewpoints, meaning some characters will get more screen time than others.

Before transmigrating, the main cast didn’t know each other, and they each know different amounts about Detective Conan. Some know the series very well, while others only know Conan himself.

Some characters will have their secret identities exposed in the end, while others won’t.

Every character will have their own growth arc.

The main cast will have a mix of red- and black-aligned secret identities, but they themselves are absolutely on the red side. Some of them may have rather unusual personalities, though.

The pairings haven’t been decided yet, but there will probably be at least one couple.

(I’ve found that if I decide on the pairings in advance, I can’t write the chemistry. But if I don’t plan them ahead of time, two characters somehow develop chemistry as I write.)

The story contains lots of original worldbuilding and many original characters. Otherwise, a battle between the red and black sides couldn’t get going with so few people.

I might write extras in a watch-along format or something, but that won’t be for a long time.
