The Apocalypse: I Got Seduced by Vines Again

Human Special Forces General x mutated vine creature

Beneath the neon lights of the city, passersby contort into grotesque shapes. In the quiet depths of the forest, a black mass of writhing tentacles grows menacingly.

Humanity became the first species to suffer the bitter consequences of nuclear wastewater. Mutations swept through every city without warning, and extreme weather followed one disaster after another. Fewer than one in ten people survived.

In an amusement park abandoned for years, Chi Zhao slowly opened his eyes.

Wu Jue, a general in Yuncheng’s special forces, brought home a “plant.” He took it everywhere and cherished it in the palm of his hand.

Everyone naturally assumed it was a pretty ornament, and one that couldn’t even talk.

Then the base came under siege by zombies. The little ornament wasn’t just pretty, it was totally overpowered.

The little ornament transformed into a little flowerpot, full of attitude.

Chi Zhao: Moved?

Wu Jue: I wouldn’t dare. I wouldn’t dare.

Wu Jue had been pretty happy at first. His wife was sweet and gentle, nothing like those old lechers in the unit. He never expected to find such a delicate little flower in the apocalypse.

But soon, the general couldn’t even smile.

The rose he gave him was gobbled up by the little vine, and the huge diamond ring he gave him was bent straight and hung in his hair as an ornament.

The general was furious.

Then he turned and saw a flower blooming in Chi Zhao’s palm, along with a gaze that was utterly frank and undisguised.

General: “He may not understand, but he loves me so much!”
