Journey to the West: The Disciples Are on a Rampage While Their Master Keeps a Low Profile

Bad news: He transmigrates into Journey to the West with no cultivation at all, and a great calamity is coming!

Good news: He's bound to the Sage Teacher System and has a library that holds books from all the worlds!

Wei Yan plans to keep his head down in the mountains, casually tossing out a few copies of Shrouding the Heavens and Perfect World to keep his disciples occupied. He'll send everyone away and just try to stay alive.

Who knew that as this bunch of troublemakers kept reading, they would all end up mastering the books!

His eldest disciple masters the Heaven Swallowing Devil Art, makes flowers bloom with a single thought, lords over the Kingdom of Women, and devours the eight directions!

A prince of the Tang dynasty wields The Buddha Is the Dao, refines a six-revolution golden pill, kicks down the gates of the underworld, and defies the fate of the Human Emperor!

And then there's a monkey who reads The Story of Wukong, becomes drenched in demonic energy, smashes Five Elements Mountain with a single blow, and roars so fiercely that Lingxiao Palace trembles:

“When yin and yang are overturned, I will stain Spirit Mountain with my demonic blood!”

Guanyin breaks down: That wasn't in the script!

The Tathagata spits blood: Where did this monkey get the cultivation of a Quasi-Sage?!

The Jade Emperor panics: Even the Haotian Mirror can't see through the Black Bear Spirit's defensive formation!

Years later, Wei Yan stares in bewilderment at the countless gods and Buddhas kneeling before his mountain gate:

“I just wanted to stay alive. How did you conquer all three realms?”
