My name is Lu Yan. I used to be a number.
Now, I am the blade-bearer of Xindu.
I came to this city that devours souls and laid down just four rules:
One: No trafficking in living spirits.
Two: No blood sacrifices.
Three: No preying on the innocent.
Four: Break the rules, and you're eliminated.
They fear the black-and-white Madfire burning in my hand even more than the ever-expanding "void" inside me.
The Longevity Club sees me as a fugitive who must be eliminated. The secretive Golden Dawn has listed me as a key target under the codename "Homecoming." And the female CEO of the Lin Group has delivered an invitation from my "homeland."
They're all watching me, using me, or trying to destroy me.
But they seem to have forgotten...
I made the rules,
and this game has only just begun clearing the board.
