No. 47, Chang’an District

[Pure thriller and suspense + psychological horror + no romance + dark fairy tales + a hodgepodge of rule-based horror] When people’s obsessions go unresolved, they turn into vengeful spirits and disrupt the balance between yin and yang. The trio from No. 47 Chang’an District, Zhong Kui, Meng Qiyue, and Song Yuebai, must either guide each spirit into the cycle of reincarnation or purify it on the spot before it runs wild, while also exposing the evil of the living world.

The trio from No. 47 Chang’an District handle one vengeful-spirit case after another, each born from an extreme human tragedy. Behind every case lurk humanity’s greed, selfishness, and cruelty. As they investigate, they discover that these seemingly unrelated tragedies are all connected to a hidden dark force among the living. This force exploits human weakness to cause tragedies and feeds on resentment to grow stronger, with the ultimate goal of breaking the boundary between yin and yang. While dealing with individual cases, the trio also pursue clues to the dark force, gradually uncovering a vast conspiracy spanning the living world and the underworld. At last, they face off against it at the boundary between yin and yang, fighting to protect the order of reincarnation.
