Lu Xuanming is a fortune-telling streamer who makes a living by telling lies, until a mysterious user called "Heaven's Secret" enters his livestream and predicts his own death three days later.
That night, a ghostly shadow crashes against his window, a creditor breaks down his door, and a book left behind by his grandfather, The Art of Heaven's Secrets, reveals a taboo that has endured for over forty years: in 1984, three prodigies of the supernatural arts tried to steal the secrets of heaven, only to pull a shadow from the future out of a "boundary well."
Now the shadow is hunting their descendants to extend its life.
Lu Xuanming must join forces with a Taoist priest burdened by a blood debt and the orphaned child of an engineer carrying cutting-edge technology. Together, they race for their lives between seven eerie wells scattered across the country, trying to stop an ultimate conspiracy in which the "shadow" replaces the "original."
Meanwhile, the livestream countdown continues, and the roles of hunter and prey are quietly reversed on opposite sides of the mirror...
It's suspenseful and exciting, every step is unexpected, I don't know how the author will fill in the gaps next.
