The Delicate Transfer Student Uproots a Willow Tree

Lin Ruanruan is a max-level retired mercenary, codename “Blood Rose.” Tired of a life of blades and bloodshed, she just wants to enjoy a quiet retirement as an ordinary high school girl. After transferring schools, she pretends to be a frail girl who gets winded after every three steps, but Lu Ye, the school bully feared by the entire student body, mistakes her for something fragile and protects her obsessively. Lu Ye imagines her to be the most vulnerable creature in the world, putting on a show of defending her every day. Little does he know that she can crush bottle caps with one hand, kick thugs flying, and send a shot put through an iron gate. When a kidnapping takes place and Lin Ruanruan is forced to take off her plain glasses and deal with armed thugs using nothing but a tree branch, Lu Ye’s entire worldview crumbles. It turns out the one he’s been desperately protecting is the real powerhouse.
