Also known as: "On a Snowy Christmas Night, Depressed Me Took in a Wandering Girl. Was the Meeting of a Lonely Soul and an Abandoned Child a Mutual Salvation on a Cold Night, or Were We Heading Together into an Abyss of Ruin?" and "I Once Had Someone I Loved"

My name is Chen Mo. On the coldest day of last winter, I found her in an alley. She was curled up in the snow like an abandoned kitten. Out of pity, I took her back to my dorm. A college student with depression and a girl of unknown origins ended up sharing a ten-square-meter room.

We made plans for a future that could never happen. During those days, I felt needed again for the first time in ages. I thought I was the one who had saved her.

It wasn't until later that I realized that perhaps I was the one who had needed saving all along.
