Underworld Inspector: My Senior Brother Is Wukong

Chen Fan, a new law student, has his soul mistakenly hooked by the drunken Heibai Wuchang and dragged into the Hall of Fengdu. At the critical moment, he uses his legal expertise to take on the King of Hell, turning the tables on the underworld with a charge of “procedural violation.” By a fluke, he earns a government position as a “Yang Realm Inspector,” beginning a double life as both a college student and an underworld civil servant.

Armed with an official underworld seal, he deals with glitches in the cycle of life and death and battles lesser demons. But after rescuing an injured little princess of the Qingqiu Fox Clan in the back hills, he's forced into a chaotic life of cohabitation. As spiritual qi revival begins, he accidentally finds his way into the Three Stars Cave of the Oblique Moon and becomes Patriarch Bodhi's disciple. He learns the Great Sage Celestial Art, receives the Calamity-Subduing Saber, forged from the same source as the Golden Cudgel, and becomes sworn brothers with Sun Wukong, Nezha, and Yang Jian.

From supernatural campus incidents to the great war against demons across the Three Realms, from the True Immortal realm all the way to the Saint realm, Chen Fan uses modern thinking to navigate the worlds of immortals and Buddhas, bringing order to the Three Realms through a legal framework. This is a cultivation adventure full of charming contrasts. Watch an ordinary civil servant carve out his own defiant path to immortality between the modern city and the Three Realms!
