The Lamp Guides Souls Home

Inside the copper lamp salvaged from a junkyard lies a fate heavier than the rent.

Lin Mo thought he was just an ordinary young man whose landlord kept raising his rent. Then the ancient lamp carved with snake patterns grew hot, an impossible light came on on the seventeenth floor of an unfinished building, and an unfamiliar text threatened him with a “younger brother who doesn’t exist.” Only then did he realize that what he had picked up was no antique, but a crack connecting the worlds of the living and the dead.

The strange old man who feeds cats speaks in a woman’s voice. In the unfinished building stands the version of himself from three years ago. An unfamiliar boy in an ICU bed has blood like his own... Every time the copper lamp lights up, a countdown to death begins. Lin Mo has no choice but to face the secret he had forgotten: he is no orphan, but the lamp’s chosen keeper. And the so-called “replacement” is merely the shadow he pushed into the abyss with his own hands.

The rain is still falling, and the unfinished building’s lights are growing brighter. The eyes watching him from the darkness have finally bared their fangs. This time, what he must protect is not the lamp, but the life that was stolen from him.
