There is a System. Everyday life, adventure, and battles.
The story takes place fifteen years earlier, in an era before the Four Emperors had been established and just after the Shichibukai were formed.
The early story focuses mainly on the protagonist's rise and his interactions with Robin, Hancock, and Luo.
In the middle of the story, after they become companions, they set sail together on adventures.
