Magical Girls Will Never Forgive the World

(Madoka x Homura + Original Plot + No Golden Finger + Slow Burn + Reflective + Nietzsche + Dionysian Spirit)

Kaname Madoka sometimes wonders when things began to change.

Perhaps there was no clear dividing line.

It was just that one day, she realized she could already foresee the outcome.

Grief did not come without warning.

It appeared on schedule, like a class on a timetable,

assigned to certain people,

then understood, accepted, and forgotten by others. She understood all of it.

She understood how the rules came to be,

why a choice was called a choice,

and that “there is no other way” was not a lie.

It was precisely because she understood that she hesitated.

When she became a magical girl,

she had no expectations.

Nor did she resist.

She simply realized one thing:

she could no longer nod along so easily.

She would still act

when the time came.

But before she acted,

she would pause.

Not to oppose anything, but to make sure:

did all of this really need to be forgiven?
