In 2149, the tenth year Blue Star was shrouded in crimson fog, civilization had collapsed, mutated beasts roamed everywhere, and humanity huddled in safe zones, barely clinging to life. Scavenger Ye Xuan was on the verge of death after encountering a Tier Three Ironback Wolf when he unexpectedly bound himself to the Omnipotent Apocalypse System. Turning the tables in the face of certain doom, he began his rise in the apocalypse.
With the System’s help, Ye Xuan’s combat power soared, and he unlocked powerful abilities such as Thunder Fist and rapid self-healing. Hunting mutated beasts and gathering resources became child’s play. By chance, he rescued a security squad surrounded by Shadow Cats and met their cool-headed, decisive captain Ling Xue, their gentle and thoughtful medic Su Wan, and their shy sharpshooter Tang Rui. His formidable strength earned their trust and won him entry to the core zone, a place everyone longed to reach.
Along the way, he twice came to the aid of Xia Mo, a proud and formidable lone hunter, breaking through her icy defenses and bringing this top-tier fighter into his ranks. He joined forces with the security squad to hunt a Tier Four Golden-Winged Roc, steadily building his reputation, and also met Lin Wanqing, a gentle doctor skilled in advanced healing abilities.
From a drifter scavenger to a powerful figure surrounded by goddess-like companions, Ye Xuan steadily improves his combat strength and unlocks new abilities while navigating the undercurrents among the safe zone’s factions. He leads his companions in hunting high-tier mutated beasts and gathering precious resources. In this dog-eat-dog apocalypse, the System gives him wings and his strength serves as his shield. Protecting everyone who depends on him, he carves out a path to kingship and becomes the most dependable haven in the apocalypse.
