Back to the Seventies: My Tough Soldier

Xie Weiwei, a young woman from a large residential compound in the 1970s, is being forced to go to the countryside.

After weighing her options, she sets her sights on Jiang Weidong, an island-based military officer who has come to meet potential brides.

Their marriage application is approved quickly, and she joins him at a remote island post.

The two originally only intend to share a life of convenience, but as the days go by, they become part of each other's lives.

Years later, Jiang Weidong rests his forehead against hers. “Weiwei, the luckiest thing I've done in this life was choosing you, my little fox.”

Xie Weiwei smiles and holds him tight. “Likewise, Colonel Jiang.”
