The Witchfire Burns Eternal

The Ancestral God’s essence and blood gave rise to the Ancient Gods; the Heavenly Dao shattered, but its laws endured. The Demon Ancestor Chongyuan broke free of his seal, while the Witch Clan’s Hengji perished on a desolate hill. Born bearing two souls, Hengji was half Bai Yueheng, gentle and dignified, and half Ye Sangheng, a force of both good and evil. She was the most honored Crown Princess in the Celestial Realm, and also the last Witch God of the Witch Clan. Bound by a betrothal to the Night God Cheng Yi, she nevertheless composed a tragic song with the Fire God Fu Chuan. As the Three Realms teetered on the brink of collapse, she sacrificed her divine soul for the Witch Clan and used her bones and blood to suppress the Demon Abyss. When the peach blossoms fall and spring comes again, the witchfire will burn bright for a hundred thousand years. Is it waiting for a soul to return, or for a love that will never fade?

(When the peach blossoms have all fallen, spring comes again. The witchfire burns bright, waiting for one soul to return.)
