In the early 1980s, the heroine married a seriously ill man in a mountain village for "joy". Unexpectedly, her husband died that night, and she became a young widow who could be bullied by everyone. Her husband's family planned to sell her to an old bachelor from a neighboring village in exchange for a bride price. When she was in despair, the taciturn young father-in-law (in his thirties, whose husband was born from a previous marriage) who lost a leg in the war and made a living by showing movies, protected her behind him. He used crutches, a projector and the evil spirit he had developed on the battlefield to fight against the ignorance and greed of the entire village, leading her out of the mountains and onto a dazzling life of her own.

The relationship between the characters is a bit confusing, sometimes she is a stepmother in name, and sometimes she is a daughter-in-law and father-in-law.
It's really wonderful [crying] When will it be updated? The author is great [crying]
. Willing to read on.
Very nice, I like it very much
Great book, just have to read it.
The writing is very good, I love listening to it and reading it.
