In the near future, when Chen Mo, a legendary VR designer, was dying, he backed up his consciousness into a "digital mausoleum" composed of quantum servers - project codenamed "Theseus". This is not an ordinary consciousness upload, but cutting personality, memory, and creativity into thousands of encrypted fragments, scattered and hidden at different levels in the virtual space. Rumor has it that only by collecting all the fragments can he obtain his unfinished ultimate work: a metaverse system that can simulate the "afterlife".
