[Female Lead] + [Entertainment Industry] + [System] + [Recreating Classics] + [Acting] + [Variety Shows]
At 32, after 17 years of struggling in China's entertainment industry, I finally won the highest award for an actress. Then I tripped and died on the night of the ceremony.
When I opened my eyes again, I was a pretty-but-useless idol with the same name in a parallel world. I'd switched careers to acting, but my skills were awful and I was drowning in scandals.
After I showed just a little of my award-winning acting talent on a variety show, the actor-judge gave me a piercing look. “Your acting is polished, with the unmistakable marks of years of experience.”
A famous director made the first move. “You're exactly the actor I've been looking for!”
A newly crowned top-tier star said publicly, “Yes, I want to act alongside Song Zhiyu.”
The System forcibly bound me to the [Scandal-Making Superstar System].
It wanted me to create scandals, earn Scandal Points, and exchange them for rewards so I could reach the top of the entertainment industry.
I, award-winning actress Song Zhiyu, don't need a System to reach the top!
What? You say I can exchange points for all of these?
Michael Jackson's stage presence!
Mariah Carey's singing skills!
Michelle Yeoh's martial arts prowess!
Gong Li's and Maggie Cheung's acting skills!
“Delicious! Absolutely delicious!” Song Zhiyu declared.
Song Zhiyu was getting a little anxious, wondering how to feed the paparazzi her own scandals so she could earn Scandal Points.
A hater asked, “How does this woman keep getting stronger the more we drag her?”
The major entertainment media were baffled too: “With so many scandals, how did she become the face of China?”
Content note: One male lead, with a little romance. The female lead focuses mainly on her career. The scripts include both original works and recreated classics.
