I’m an Accountant at a Hospital

Shangguan Qing is a hospital accountant who can see a countdown to death above everyone’s head, but she must abide by the “Three Don’ts”: don’t alter it, don’t tell anyone, and don’t interfere too much.

Every day, she sits behind the billing window, with the precise, impersonal accounting system at her left and the endless joys and sorrows of life and death at her right.

Then an epidemic sweeps through, drawing everyone into its storm. As a comrade’s life countdown nears zero, she finds herself on the edge of the “Three Don’ts”...

This time, will she follow the rules or save a life?

A ledger of life, numbers, humanity, and warmth awaits you.
