Scheming in the Imperial Palace: The Fallen Princess Rules the World

Modern ancient-text restorer Qin Ruowei unexpectedly transmigrates into the body of Qin Ruowei, the legitimate princess of the fallen Jiang Kingdom, and is sent to the harem of the Xuan Kingdom as a servant. To survive, she repeatedly turns the tables with her modern knowledge: she earns favor by saving the Third Prince Murong Jue, then becomes Prince Jing Murong Heng’s secondary consort after taking a blade for him. Amid the intrigue of court and harem, she advances one careful step at a time.

From the Laundry Bureau to the Imperial Library, from secondary consort in Prince Jing’s household to empress, Qin Ruowei and Murong Heng come to understand and cherish each other. Together, they overthrow Noble Consorts Wu and Wen, Prince Rui, and other rival factions. She reforms the Jiangnan grain transport system to save the people, pioneers a new era by reforming women’s education, and lays the foundation for a golden age through bloody battles on the northern frontier. In the end, she and Murong Heng usher in the “Tianqi Golden Age” and rule together as the “Two Sages.”

After dying peacefully of old age, Qin Ruowei unexpectedly returns to the modern world and discovers that none of it was a dream. Following the clues, she finds the hidden Zhaoling Mausoleum and descendants of the Murong clan, and learns that Murong Heng had known all along that she came from another world. He left behind a final letter that crossed the boundaries of time.

At last, she reunites with Murong Heng, reincarnated in the modern era, and combines the wisdom of Tianqi with modern knowledge to write a new legend.
