The Dayan Dynasty fell, and the only surviving prince, Li Yuan, carried the body of his grandfather, the imperial physician, and fled into the Jiugong Mountain, the most dangerous mountain in southern Xinjiang, to seek refuge. In order to gain a chance of survival, he resolutely jumped into the Gu refining pit of "nine escapes", and awakened the "Gu Insect Synthesis System" in a desperate situation. Relying on the system, he synthesized ordinary bugs into top-grade Gu bugs, killed everyone at the bottom of the pit, and successfully joined the sect. In order to develop in a low-key manner, Li Yuan took the initiative to work at the "Remnant Gu Building" where abandoned Gu insects were dealt with.
