Siheyuan: From the Start, I Force Yi Zhonghai to Step Down

When the memories of a twenty-first-century life appear in chef He Yuzhu’s mind, the script of the courtyard house gets completely turned upside down. While everyone else is scheming over half a pound of ration coupons, he grabs a Type 56 rifle and heads into the cornfield to hunt wild boars. While everyone else is scratching their heads over moral blackmail, he pulls out a ten-year savings book and sends Yi Zhonghai straight to the police station. Qin Huairu’s tears? Xu Damao’s schemes? Yi Zhonghai’s plans for someone to support him in his old age?

He Yuzhu smokes and sneers: Who plays palace intrigue these days? I’ve got a gun and a System, and the corn in the instance can feed half the steel mill!

When wild boar haunches are traded for industrial coupons and corncobs pile high in the granary, the whole courtyard finally realizes that the man they’ve called Silly Zhu for twenty years is the real hunter who knows how to play the pig to eat the tiger.
