In today’s society, the internet giant Zhiliankeji controls every aspect of life through big data and algorithms: food delivery, transportation, job hunting, finance, and social networking. It has created “data tyranny,” quantifying and harvesting ordinary people’s privacy, labor value, and consumer choices through algorithms. “Free services” are exploitation wrapped in sugarcoating, technology locks society into rigid class divisions, and the dark side hides behind a façade of “technological convenience.” On the surface, all seems peaceful; behind the scenes, everyone is getting fleeced.
